CINDERELLA'S CLOSET
Cinderella's Closet of Chapel Hill is a project of the Chapel Hill Service League. We provide formal wear to young women that could not otherwise afford to attend prom.
At Cinderella’s Closet, we empower participants by promoting positive body image, enhancing self-worth, and cultivating confidence. We strive to ensure each individual feels valued, capable and celebrated.
Our dress selection weekend will be Friday, April 4 - Saturday, April 5, 2025, held at St. Thomas More Church in Chapel Hill.
Donate
Cinderella's Closet is a nonprofit organization. We rely on donations to serve high school students in the Chapel Hill area during prom season. Consider donating to the Chapel Hill Service League for Cinderella's Closet. Or if you'd like to donate a dress, contact lisa.beisser@gmail.com to drop off a donated dress.
Get a Dress
In order to receive a dress through our dress selection weekend, participants must be a high school student. Students can reach out to any of the school social workers and they will sign the student up for a dress shopping appointment.
Volunteer
We love our volunteers! Cinderella's Closet relies on volunteers to help our princesses with their prom shopping experience. If you are interested in volunteering and are not a member of the Chapel Hill Service League, just reach out to cinderella@chapelhillserviceleague.com and we can see if we still have volunteer needs.
